Violetta Patroniak
She received her Ph.D. from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, in 1995 under the supervision of Prof. Wanda Radecka-Paryzek. She then gained experience as a postdoc at University of Catania (Catania, Italy) with Prof. Paolo Finnochciaro (1999) and at Université de Strasbourg (Strasbourg, France) with Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn (2001). She is currently Full Professor (2014) and Head the Department of Functional Nanostructure Synthesis at the Faculty of Chemistry, Adam Mickiewicz University, in Poznań, Poland. Her research interests include self-assembled (metalo)supramolecular systems and their applications in biological and special material domains. Her hobbies include traveling mainly to France, Italy and Spain, fast driving, but most importantly is find of young talented chemists.
