Our team is located in Faculty of Chemistry at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. We are currently focusing our efforts on the synthesis and comprehensive physicochemical characterization of systems that comprise polypyridines and/or Schiff-base ligands, altogether tethered by 3d(TM)/4f(RE) ions.
We hope to take advantage of design principles embedded within the molecular building blocks, so as to utilize the self-assembly phenomenon and thus form (metallo)supramolecular architectures that exhibit fascinating properties of use in domains such as materials chemistry, bioassays or stimuli-responsive systems. Such endeavor would not have been possible without variety of established domestic and international collaborations.
